Marriage Preparation
At Summitville First Christian Church, our Marriage Preparation Ministry exists to support, equip, and strengthen couples as they embark on the journey of marriage. We believe that a strong, Christ‑centered marriage begins long before the wedding day, and so we provide intentional guidance through premarital counseling, workshops, and resources rooted in Biblical wisdom. Led by experienced mentors and pastoral staff, our ministry helps couples explore communication, conflict resolution, financial stewardship, spiritual unity, and expectations in marriage. We partner closely with engaged couples—walking alongside them, answering questions, and helping them build a foundation that endures. Our goal is not only to prepare for the wedding, but to build marriages that flourish in love, faith, and service for a lifetime.---
Women's Ministry
At Summitville First Christian Church, the Women’s Ministry is a place where women of all ages and walks of life come together to grow in faith, build meaningful friendships, and support one another through life’s seasons. Rooted in Scripture and guided by prayer, this ministry offers Bible studies, fellowship events, service opportunities, and mentoring relationships that encourage women to deepen their relationship with Christ and with each other. Whether gathering around the Word, serving the community, or simply sharing life together, our goal is to equip women to live out their God-given purpose with strength, grace, and joy. All women are welcome—whether you're new to church or have been walking with Jesus for years.
Volunteer Groups
At Summitville First Christian Church, our Volunteer Groups are the heart of service and community, where every member’s gifts and passions are welcomed and empowered. Whether helping lead children’s ministry, greeting guests at the door, serving during worship, maintaining the church grounds, or caring for those in need in our congregation and beyond, volunteers play an essential role in living out our mission. We believe that serving together builds stronger relationships—with God, with one another, and with our neighbors. Our Volunteer Groups are supported through training, encouragement, and opportunities to grow spiritually, all while contributing to something bigger than ourselves. Kid's Ministry
At Summitville First Christian Church, our Children’s Ministry is a warm, vibrant space where God’s love meets young hearts head‑on. We are committed to guiding children from birth through fifth grade, helping them grow in faith, understanding, and relationship with Jesus. In a safe, age‑appropriate environment, we offer engaging Bible lessons, interactive worship, fun crafts, and opportunities for kids to put their faith into action. Our caring volunteers—carefully selected and trained—partner with parents to lay a strong spiritual foundation, one that encourages kids to ask questions, explore God’s Word, and live out Christ’s love in their daily lives. Whether through Sunday gatherings, seasonal events, or family‑centered programming, we want every child to know they are deeply loved, spiritually significant, and part of our church family.
